Alaska Works Partnership (AWP) is an apprenticeship outreach and training consortium of the Alaska Building and Construction Trades unions and their apprenticeship programs. AWP has a partnership agreement with the national Helmets to Hardhats program to provide information and assistance to veterans interested in a career in the Alaskan construction industry. AWP may be able to provide financial assistance to applicants who must travel to Anchorage or Fairbanks for interviews, orientation or training.
